Our History
Our founder, Dane, was 12 years old when he started his first business mowing lawns which became a full-scale landscaping company named Rent-a-Son Lawns. After moving away, becoming a teacher, starting a moving company, and eventually returning home to care of his aging grandparents, the next evolution was born: On-Call Senior Solutions. (Though the name "Rent-a-Grandson" was considered, it was thought to be potentially misleading.) After guiding his own parents and grandparents through the process of downsizing, and on-going home maintenance and upkeep, it became evident that this was a largely underserved and under-supported aspect of life that actively challenges many seniors in our community and beyond.

The mission of this service is to helping seniors live comfortably and stress free; providing various tiers of help and support to those who need assistance with household projects or are preparing to take on a large move or downsize into a smaller home or care facility.
